History

For several years, Dentalview Inc., under license by Dr. Bennett Jacoby, manufactured and marketed the periodontal endoscope called the DV2, which was designed by their Chief Engineer, Mr. Bruce Beckman.  The DV2 rapidly became the Gold Standard for minimally invasive periodontal therapy worldwide resulting in thousands of very satisfied patients. Many clinicians base their entire periodontitis treatment regimen on this fantastic technology.

With this incredible clinical success, Dr. Jacoby seized the opportunity to reacquire complete control of his patents, and teamed up with Mr. Beckman to form Microvision Dental Technologies, Inc. (MVDT). Their immediate goal is to bring a new, autoclavable, periodontal endoscope to market that is simple and reliable.  Fortunately, one of the benefits of the new design is an actual increase in resolution and image clarity.
